Kanye West Shades 'DWTS' On 'Jesus Is King' Album & Val Chmerkovskiy Had The Best Response
Kanye West released his highly-anticipated ninth album, Jesus Is King, on October 25, and fans went wild. But not everyone was enthusiastic about the rapper's newest tunes. After one of Kanye's song lyrics slammed Dancing With the Stars, professional dancer Val Chmerkovskiy clapped back at the "Jesus Walks" singer.
On track number five of Kanye's album, titled "On God," he calls out the famed ABC dance competition reality series. "That's why I charge the prices that I charge / I can't be out here Dancing With the Stars," the 42-year-old rapped on the track. "No, I cannot let my family starve / I go hard, that's on God."
The DWTS alum, 33, took to his Instagram Stories and shaded the Yeezy designer. In the video, Val can be seen dancing to the song until he heard the lyric. The clip then cuts to a photo of Kanye's wife Kim Kardashian when she was on Dancing With the Stars back in 2008. "That new Ye album got me in my feelings..." he captioned the video.
"Yo, Kanye, keep talking that smack about Dancing With the Stars," Val joked. "Man, you're going to catch this diss track. With some rhinestones on."

Kim's brother Rob Kardashian was also on the show in 2011 when he was paired with pro Cheryl Burke.
Queer Eye star Karamo Brown is currently competing on the show with the Ukrainian native's wife, Jenna Johnson. He reacted to his friend's IG stories and posted his own Instagram reaction video. "Sound On! #KanyeWest just dropped a new album and @valentin had the funniest comeback to Kanye's line 'Can't Be Dancing W/ The Stars' ???? #HeyKim lol This Monday vote for @jennajohnson & I," he hilariously wrote on October 25.
Jesus Is King was delayed multiple times and released it on Twitter. “To my fans,” he wrote. “Thank you for being loyal & patient. We are specifically fixing mixes on ‘Everything We Need,’ ‘Follow God’ & ‘Water.’ We not going to sleep until this album is out!”
