'Vanderpump Rules' Star Lala Kent Shares Emotional Message To Mark 6 Months Sober

Lala Kent got super personal on Instagram when she revealed that she is celebrating six months of sobriety on Monday, April 22. The Vanderpump Rules star commemorated the major milestone with a touching post.

The 29-year-old wrote, "It’s been a couple of days full of milestones. Yesterday we got to celebrate Easter and the life of my sweet dad. Today, I celebrate six months of sobriety. I know I talk about this often, but y’all... I still cant believe it."

"I feel the need to share my story because I know I’m not the only one out there suffering from this. It’s not an easy path I’ve chosen, but I chose it because it was between one thing, and my life. I take it one day at a time. I celebrate each day that I go through in a clear state of mind, & the next day I wake up with the same goal: stay clear," the reality star said.

"On top of all the miles stones, today I will fly with my mama to meet up with my fiancé, & see the place that I will marry the love of my life. I’m feeling blessed ♥️," she said.

Her fiancé, Randall Emmett, also shared a sweet tribute to her for the occasion. He presented her with a cake and wrote on Instagram, "It’s a day filled with blessings, I cannot tell you how proud I am. 6 months of sobriety, it brings tears to my eyes to see your strength and passion for life. Your my hero and my inspiration. I love you my angel. Congratulations @lalakent."

The Utah-native confessed she was an alcoholic last month. She admitted, "Five months ago, I came to the realization that I am an alcoholic. I am now a friend of Bill Wilson, which you will never know how much this program means to me, has given me new life.” Bill is the late Alcoholics Anonymous co-founder who created his famous 12 Step Program.
