Vanderpump Rules stars Lala Kent and Jax Taylor hopped on social media to pay tribute to their late dads on Father's Day, and their messages were both heartfelt and heartbreaking.
Lala, 29, shared an image of herself in nature staring at a waterfall and reflected on the time that has passed since she lost her father Kent Burningham unexpectedly on April 21, 2018.
"Last year was the first Father’s Day I didn’t have my dad. I sat and cried, watching this waterfall, trying to understand how this happened. How my life had changed forever, overnight. Today, I feel the same way. Each moment that goes by without him I just think, damn I haven’t seen his face in over a year. ... I haven’t hugged him, or heard his voice. To say my heart is broken is an understatement," she wrote on Instagram.
She continued, "I will go forward in my life finding comfort in knowing he is looking down on me, being my angel like he has always been. Looking at the father my fiancé is to his two little girls is enough to make my heart explode. His girls look at him the way I looked at my dad. Even tho today is sad, I can’t help but feel happy and blessed. From my dad, to my brothers, & my incredible fiancé, the men in my life are, and will be, amazing fathers."

Jax, 39, took to Twitter to remember his father Ronald Cauchi, who passed away on December 27, 2018, after a battle with cancer.
"Happy Father’s Day to the best dad ever!! I miss you so much every day pop, I know you are with me every day," Jax wrote on a photo of Ronald at sunset.
Both Bravo stars have struggled to come to terms with their fathers' deaths on their hit show. Lala recently revealed that her emotional turmoil over losing her dad made her realize she was alcoholic and was the catalyst for her getting sober.
