Vanessa Hudgens slayed at her movie premiere in Hollywood. The Spring Breakers actress, 31, was all smiles as she walked the Bad Boys for Life red carpet solo. Her appearance came hours after news broke on Tuesday, January 14, that she and her longtime boyfriend Austin Butler split after more than eight years of dating.
During the Los Angeles premiere at the TCL Chinese Theater in Hollywood, the actress, who stars opposite of Will Smith and Martin Lawrence in the new installment of the Bad Boys franchise, looked flawless in her one-shoulder white gown that featured white feathers on sleeve and around her hips, silver rhinestones on the bodice, and a thigh-high split.
The former Disney Channel star paired her Old Hollywood inspired look with black satin Mary Jane platform heels. Her hair was in soft, big curls.
The actress was all smiles as she blew kisses and gave a peace sign to the cameras. The event came hours after a source revealed to People that Vanessa and Austin, 28, had called it quits after almost nine years of dating.
An insider told Us Weekly, “Vanessa and Austin are officially broken up, and Vanessa has been telling those close to her about their breakup.”
Fans speculated that two had broken up after they were noticeably absent from one another’s social media accounts in the recent months. There were also no signs that they had celebrated the holidays together. Furthermore, the most recent picture that Vanessa shared of the two was on October 31. “Happy Halloween from my family to your,” the actress captioned a picture of the two dressed in gothic costumes alongside the dog Darla.
Meanwhile Austin hasn’t posted a snap of Vanessa since July 2019, when he shared a photo of them on Instagram at the movie premier for his film Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.
In November 2018, Vanessa revealed to Women’s Health that despite their long relationship, the actress was in no hurry to get tie the knot. “I want to get married, travel, then have kids—probably in my late 30s,” she explained. “Everyone’s clock is different.” The two started dating in September 2011, and they have yet address the breakup.
