Though Vicki Gunvalson has been seemingly staying strong following her ex Brooks Ayers’ wild cancer fakery scandal, a source revealed to RadarOnline.com that The Real Housewives of Orange County star is still “struggling” with the drama!
“Vicki was really, really struggling for a while after that all went down,” the insider said. “She is a tough cookie, but she also has a soft inside and that whole incident hurt her emotionally.”
“No one will know whether or not she actually knew what was going on except for her and Brooks,” the source continued. “She will definitely figure it out because she always does. But Vicki really became the target and that just wasn’t fair.”
Vicki has denied knowing that Ayers was lying about his cancer treatments.

But her RHOC castmates are still furious with Gunvalson over the scandal, with sources claiming that they actually want her booted from the show.
And though she’s apologized to them for Ayers misleading them, the source said that the RHOC ladies are continuing to give Gunvalson a tough time.
“The women on that show are out for blood. When they are against someone they are all extremely vicious," the insider said. “They went after Vicki to take her down and that is the bottom line.
