Bella Hadid announced two days ago via Instagram that she is officially scheduled to walk in the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show. In her announcement, she posed in black lingerie that revealed the model's skinny frame. Many Instagram followers body shamed her and Bella finally responded. Scroll for more details.
The 22-year-old posed in lingerie and high snakeskin boots which she posted to Instagram with the caption, “@victoriassecret fittings today?i can’t wait for you to see all of the beautiful outfits ...i’m so grateful to be a part of the show again, feeling happier and healthier than ever.”
One commenter wrote, “Girl u gotta change ur workout and diet bcoz u look like a skeleton.” Another Instagram user said, “I usually put likes to Bella’s post but this time I won’t because she looks sick and unnatural.”
One commenter specifically called out the lingerie brand and said, “Shame on @victoriassecret for encouraging and promoting this totally unrealistic image. We must put an end to the concept of looks = value.”

After Bella received backlash she added, “(all body types are different and react differently to a great workout routine and a healthy diet❤️???)" to her original caption in response.
Bella is also walking the show alongside her sister Gigi Hadid, who opted out last year for various reasons.
