Vin Diesel’s stunt double Joe Watts was reportedly placed into an induced coma after a 30-foot fall on the set of Fast & Furious 9 on July 22. The cast and crew of the upcoming movie were sent home that day “fearing the worst," as the stuntman was rushed to the Royal London Hospital.
On July 22, Joe suffered a serious head injury from a fall, and Warner Bros. Studio halted production. He is now fighting for his life.
According to reports, Vin, 52, was “choking back tears” after he saw Joe fall on his head when a safety cable reportedly snapped as the stuntman jumped off a balcony on the film set.
A source told The Sun, “Vin Diesel was seen on set seconds after. He looked ashen, totally in shock and blinking back tears. He saw what happened.” The shocked actor, along with the cast and crew, went home "fearing the worst."

“I love him so much. He has all his friends and family by his side to get him through this,” she wrote. Tilly remains at her fiancé’s bedside along with her father actor Greg Powell.
Tilly and Joe had been dating for four years, and are allegedly set to get married next year.
