Wendy Williams Lashes Out At Audience Member Whose Phone Goes Off During Show — 'Get Out!'

Wendy Williams does not play around when it comes to her talk show! During an episode that aired on Tuesday, October 8, the host yelled at an audience member when their cell phone rang during the live show.

As Wendy, 55, was discussing a topic related to Jennifer Lopez, someone in the crowd received a phone call with their ringer on loud enough for the crowd to hear.

"Is somebody's phone on?" Wendy said mid-speech. Her staffer responded, "Yes." "Get out! Get out! Turn that phone off now, sir. Ma'am. Whoever you are," the Think Like A Man actress barked. The audience laughed but then quickly became quiet.

But shortly after her outburst, Wendy calmed down and added, "Just please. Kindly come with the tickets are free, but when you come here, you must turn your phones off. I was being overdramatic but kindly please turn your phone off. Thank you."

The Wendy Williams Show is currently in its 11th season and has been renewed until 2022. Last season proved to be a firestorm for the Emmy nominee as she took several hiatuses to deal with issues regarding her marriage, sobriety and mental health.  The mother of one announced she would be taking a leave of absence from her show in December 2018 due to her battle with Graves' disease, an immune system disorder. She came back on the air in March 2019 after months away from her show.The talk show was full of celeb guest hosts like Nick Cannon and Keke Palmer

The TV personality was allegedly found drunk by a member of her team in March 2019 and was rushed to the hospital. She appeared on her talk show the next day, where she revealed that the show would be taking another hiatus. Wendy just returned after being absent for two months.

Wendy also filed for divorce from her husband 21 years, Kevin Hunter, in April 2019, shortly after news surfaced he welcomed a daughter with his mistress, Sharina Hudson.

After her split, Wendy has gone out with other men and has briefly mentioned them on her show. She was previously linked to Marc Tomblin,  a 27-year-old felon earlier this summer. One month prior, she told her viewers she was seeing a doctor in his 50s.
