Taylor Swift at the Thanksgiving Day Parade, Grumpy Cat's Christmas Movie and More To Watch Over The Holiday Weekend
While you’ll probably spend much of your four day Thanksgiving weekend watching movie and sitcom marathons, here’s 5 others specials premiering this holiday that you def won’t want to miss out on:
Thanksgiving Day Parade. Thursday at 9am on NBC. Taylor Swift is headlining this year’s Macy’s Day Parade, which makes sense since she’s now a New York resident and all. There will also be various other pop musical acts, some Broadway performances, and of course, lots and lots of floats.
National Dog Show. Thursday at 12pm on NBC. Right after the parade comes the annual National Dog Show, which is basically a beauty pageant for puppies. Sorry, but this Purina-sponsored competition will make your family pet look pathetic in comparison.

Grumpy Cat’s Worst Christmas Ever. Saturday at 8pm on Lifetime. But if you’re more of a cat person, Grumpy Cat’s your girl! In the internet meme’s first-ever movie, Grumpy Cat plays a disgruntled pet at a mall pet shop—until a 12-year-old girl buys her and gives her an amazing holiday experience. By the way, Aubrey Plaza voices the kitty!
Nickelodeon’s HALO Awards. Sunday at 7pm on Nickelodeon. Fifth Harmony, Meghan Trainor, Nick Jonas, and The Vamps will perform at the Nick Cannon-hosted awards show which honors tweens who are doing incredible things for their communities. And PS: The Vamps will be taking over the OK! Instagram during the show, so follow along and get details on the takeover right HERE!
The Walking Dead. Sunday at 9pm on AMC. The cast has described the mid-season finale as “heartbreaking” and “devastating,” so yeah. You’ve been warned that it’s going to be emotional.
