Choosing an outfit to wear on any given day can be a challenge, picking one that stands up against the Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards bold orange carpet is a completely different ball game. Here stars reveal their quests for fashion perfection at the slime-filled event.

How long did it take you to decide what to wear?

It was really hard because we had a more chic look but then we decided this was more fun.

Who are you wearing?

Marc Jacobs.

How long did it take you to decide what to wear?

Not that long because when I put something on I know that’s what I’m going to wear. It took me an hour to try on everything and this was the last thing I tried on and it was definitely my favorite.

Who are you wearing?

I love this dress. It’s a fun, color-blocked dress by Donna Karan.

How long did it take you to decide what to wear?

Actually this was the pick because I was like, “It’s going to be the last outfit that we find.” So Donna Karan it is!

Who are you wearing?

I’m wearing Theia.

How long did it take you to decide what to wear?

It took me about a day to find it with the help of a girl who does wardrobe on "Big Time Rush", her name is Dina. It’s definitely very 1960's flower power.

Who are you wearing?

I’m wearing Anna Catherine and Blonde Ambition shoes.

How long did it take you to figure out what you were going to wear today?

I went through and found a couple of dresses. It took about an hour. I like to have a good variety and when I tried this one I just loved the way everything came together. I knew this was the one.

Who are you wearing?

I’m wearing DSquared2.

How long did it take you to decide what to wear?

I couldn’t find anything I was in love with and then I came across this and I was like, “Yes, I have to get that one.” I love the color. I feel like green is the color of the season and I wanted something bright and vibrant for springtime.

Who are you wearing?

I’m wearing Elizabeth and James shorts, a PJK blouse and Alice + Olivia wedge sandals. The whole outfit came from Bleu Clothing on La Brea Boulevard (in Los Angeles). It's my favorite store! I walked in thinking I wanted to wear a color and then I saw these shorts. I love how they look almost like a retro swimsuit.

How long did it take for you to decide what to wear?

Well I walked into the store and I said, “I’m going to the Kids Choice Awards and I want to wear something colorful” and I tried on a couple things but as soon as I tried this on, it was the third outfit I tried on, I was like, okay, done!

Who are you wearing?

I’m wearing Theia which is the designer who actually also dressed Ciara (Bravo, her "Big Time Rush" co-star)!

How long did it take you to decide what to wear?

Honestly, this is the first dress I tried on! I was like, “I want that one!”

Who are you wearing?

Sherri Hill.

How long did it take you to decide what to wear?

I got a few dresses from Sherri Hill and then decided to go with this one at the last minute. But this one was really always my first choice.

Who are you wearing?

BCBG.

How long did it take you to decide what to wear?

I just went out shopping at the last minute with my mom and this was the first thing I saw in the store. I was like, “Mom, it’s not very Kids Choice but I love it.” She said, “Try it on!” So I tried it on and said, “I’m wearing it! I don’t care!” This was Thursday night. I had been looking a lot and I couldn’t find anything that was me. I saw a lot of things I thought were cute but then I saw this and I was like, “Aaaahhh!” And then my bracelets are Juicy Couture and I have my great grandma’s earrings on.

I’m wearing Keepsake and Brian Atwood shoes.

How long did it take you to decide what to wear?

Ooh, it took me a while. That’s my favorite part is finding a dress. There were 15 dresses and this was the first one I tried on. But I tried on everything else and decided on this one.

Joe’s Jeans, it's actually a top and a skirt. And Effy Jewelry.

How long did it take you to decide what to wear?

I was really fortunate. I had, of course, a massive rack of stuff and this was the second thing I tried on and then we were done.
