Zayn Malik is going to be an uncle! The former One Direction singer's 17-year-old sister Safaa announced that she’s expecting her first baby. The news comes just one month after she and boyfriend Martin Tiser tied the knot in a surprise wedding.
Safaa made the announcement on Instagram on November 1. She a shared photo in which she showed off her growing baby bump in a fitted pink dress. She wore a sash that read, “It’s a baby girl.”
The teen mom-to-be also shared other pictures from her gender reveal party including one of her posing beside a personalized cake. The dessert was decorated with roses and a pair of pink booties.
Safaa and Martin got married in a private traditional Nikkah ceremony in Safaa’s hometown of Bradford, England on September 16th. She became a bride just three days after her 17th birthday. Her mom Trisha shared several pictures and videos from the ceremony on social media. “My baby girl’s big day,” she captioned one of the snaps. The 49-year-old's other shots included the newly married couple cutting the cake as well as several shots of different family members including Zayn’s sisters Doniya and Waliyha, and their father Yaser.

Waliyha, 21, congratulated the couple on social media. “Congratulations to my beautiful baby sister and the best little brother in law on your Nikkah Love you,” she wrote.
Internet trolls criticized Safaa and suggested that she was too young to get married but big sis Waliyah clapped back. “She’s 17 years old yes and????? What’s wtf about it,” she said to one user. She said to another,“It’s their life so please tell me why you're so concerned? Hasn’t ur own marriage worked or something.”
Zayn did not attend his little sister’s wedding and didn't appear in any of the pictures from the gender reveal party.The "Pillowtalk" singer has been out the spotlight for weeks and his last picture on Instagram was posted almost a month ago.
