Pretty, blonde Chelsea Kane has always projected the perfect Disney-star image: sweet girl next door. “It was kid friendly: very little makeup, clothes that weren’t revealing, T-shirts and jeans,” Chelsea tells OK!. But now the self proclaimed girly girl is wowing Dancing With the Stars fans and judges with more than just her dance moves: She’s revealed a sexy and glamorous grown-up side! “It’s a world of difference,” Chelsea, 22, says, “to come into this, where there’s no such thing as over the top — the bigger the hair, the more fake eyelashes, the more tan, the better! It’s a huge leap for me, and it’s fun!”

“She was all for it from the beginning!” says DWTS makeup artist Zena Shteysel. “She was ready to be a chameleon and transform with each dance.” The key components of her hot, new look: sultry, smoky eyes, vivid lips and sexy, bronzed skin. The show’s hair-and-makeup team has taught her a few tricks, too. “I’ve learned more about body makeup,” she says. “The body bronzing adds to a look. Your legs look a mile long.” Showing them off has built up her confidence. “Getting in front of 20 million people in a gold bikini and shimmying makes you more comfortable stepping out on a red carpet!”
