It’s In The FAB Bag! How To Pick A Purse For Every Occasion

There is nothing wrong with being a bag lady!
Designer bags may be a status symbol, but even when you travel in the swankiest of circles you find that it isn’t usually the most expensive purses that make the biggest style statement — often cheap and chic and perfectly paired purses and clutches are the real eye-catcher.
Though I definitely have a well-loved collection of timeless Hermes Birkins and Chanel bags, I also collect cool handbags that are current with the trends and more outfit specific.
If you are a career girl, or just want to get that power woman look, you have to score a stylish satchel. I really adore the JustFab Tycoon, which is available in blue, black and beige, because it features lots of interior compartments for all of your stuff, and looks uber chic as it constructed out of a shimmery material and features sassy, sparkling hardware.
Structured and sophisticated purses also make a powerful statement, like the Portofino. With its clean lines, compartmental interior and detachable shoulder strap, it is perfect for the busy city girl and world traveler.
If you are the ultimate girl-on-the-go who doesn’t have time to switch handbags between all of your busy afternoon meetings and your dinner dates, then a super chic shoulder bag is the way to go. The Daredevil is really amazing, because it is big enough to hold everything you need for the workday, but sleek enough to rock all night at the clubs. Made out of totally lux material and available in nude, fuchsia and leopard print, the chain accents and straps will really add some pizazz to your look.

So clutches may not hold everything under the kitchen sink, but sometimes you have to sacrifice your huge wallet and big bag of makeup for the sake of style! A girl carrying a clutch says ‘I don’t need lots of stuff to have a good time!’ I am totally obsessed with JustFab’s Fresca style — a woven metallic little number that features a handy wristlet. This bag is so fun for a dinner date or a night out at the clubs, and will easily match nearly everything in your wardrobe.

The weekends are for kicking back and having a good time, so I love trading in my big and sophisticated bag for something smaller and more fashionably fun. Fringe is so hot right now and perfect for that Saturday afternoon of shopping or Sunday brunch with your pals. The Niagara Falls JustFab style has a super fly vintage feel to it with its’ faux suede finish and chunky brass hardware and is available in bright blue or a natural brown hue.
Other style tips regarding handbags?
Don’t be afraid of color and prints! If you are too shy to wear bold colors or patterns on your body — for example, neon or animal print — a bag is a great way to get the trend without going overboard. A really cool and unique bag can transform your black skinny jeans and tight tank top into a celebrity Best Dressed look in an instant.
Pay attention to the hardware! If your bag has metal accents or chain straps, you always have to take it into your accessorizing consideration. Some of the biggest fashion fails that I see, occur when women wear a busy bag with too much or clashing bling. Look at the hardware and bag as if it’s own piece of jewelry and accessorize accordingly.
Beware of the overstuffed bag! Nothing kills a look more than a bag brimming with your personal items. Whether your bag is big or small, pack accordingly and make sure it doesn’t resemble a puffer fish when you leave the house.
And last, but certainly not least, make sure your bag meshes with your heels. The two really tie up your overall look, and they don’t have to be super matchy-matchy, but you want to make sure they fashionably flow together.
