Marchesa said they were inspired this season by the “satirical travels of the incomparable Lola Montez.” Signature pieces included a crimson red strapless dress with a cascade of fabric roses, a liquid silver gown with intricate beaded top and bow detail, black crepe tuxedo dress with a shooting star top, short strapless white pleated organza and feather dress, blue one shoulder dress with ruffled cascade details. COLOR/OVERHEARD: Constantine and Tinsley were looking cute and cuddly. Harvey was walking around like a proud husband and thanking people for coming to his wife Georgina Champan’s show. Sports Illustrated swimsuit cover model Brooklyn Decker just arrived back from a media tour and Marchesa was her first show. “We were doing a multi-city tour in LA, Vegas and New York so I just got back yesterday and I’m trying to catch a couple,” she told OK!. “It’s sort of the end of fashion week but it’s nice.”
Molly Sims was gushing over dresses and taking pictures on her phone. “They’re so elegant and classy and so modern and I think they do just such a good job at capturing that ultimate femininity, like that Grace Kelly 2010,” Molly told OK!. “Beautiful and elegant.”
