St. Patrick's Day Skinnygirl Vojito And Other Cocktail Recipes To Celebrate The Irish

Whether you are celebrating by raising a glass to your roots or pretending you have Irish heritage, St. Patrick's Day is a fun holiday to dress up in green, enjoy the best Ireland has to offer and of course indulge in a tipple or two.

And we have some of the best cocktail ideas to make sure your Patty's Day party has others green with envy.

So get fueled up to do the Irish jig with some lovely libations! And don't forget to get some green food in too like guacamole, edamame or wasabi peas.

Irish Eyes Are Smiling

1 1/2 parts Skinnygirl Cucumber Vodka

6 parts green tea (water steeped with tea bags OR diet green tea)

Cucumber wheel for garnish

Pour ingredients over ice.  Garnish with a cucumber wheel.

St. Peppermint Patty’s Vojito

7 mint leaves

1 lime wedge

1 1/2 parts Skinnygirl Cucumber Vodka

3 parts soda water1 chocolate covered peppermint candy

Squeeze lime wedge into glass, muddle lime wedge with mint leaves and vodka.  Add ice.  Top with soda water.  Garnish with chocolate covered peppermint candy.

* can add 1/2 tsp. agave nectar for sweetness

Emerald Mist

·   1 1Ž2  parts Jim Beam® White

·   1 part Limoncello

·   2 parts fresh lemon sour

·   5-6 fresh spearmint leaves

Directions: Shake all ingredients with ice until well blended. Strain over ice into an old fashioned glass. Garnish with mint. (Pleases note that mint floating around in the cocktail are little bursts of flavor that are considered good luck!)

Black Shamrock

·         1 part Jim Beam Black®

·         1 part Apple Juice

·         Juice of 1Ž2 lemon

·         3 dashes of simple syrup

Directions: Shake all ingredients with ice until well blended. Pour over ice into a highball glass, garnish with a cherry on the rim.

Emerald Isle

2 oz. Barrymore Pinot Grigio

4 Chunks of Cucumber

5 Mint Leaves

3/4 oz. Lime juice

3/4 oz. Simple Syrup

1 oz. Soda Water

In a shaker, add cucumber with mint leaves and muddle. Fill shaker with ice then add lime juice, simple syrup, and Barrymore Pinot Grigio. Shake vigorously. Strain over a rocks glass with ice and garnish with 3 mint sprigs and a cucumber slice.

Irish Cider

Served at Marble Lane in Dream Downtown

1 1/2 oz. Jameson

3/4 oz. Blackwell’s Rum

1/2 oz. Apple Cider

1/2 oz. Lemon Juice

1/2 oz. Agave Syrup

Ground Cinnamon

Put all ingredients into an iced cocktail shaker and shake vigorously. Strain over fresh ice in a rocks glass and top with ground cinnamon.

UV Pot of Gold

•    1 part UV Candy Bar

•    2 parts milk

•    1 piece butterscotch hard candy

•    Serve over ice

UV Irish Joe

•    2 parts UV Espresso

•    1 pint stout beer

•    Serve in pint glass

UV Sweet n’ Tart Shamrock

•    2 parts UV Apple

•    1 part butterscotch schnapps

•    Shake with ice and strain into martini glass

UV Sweet Green Gaelic

•    2 parts lemonade

•    1 part UV Sweet Green Tea

•    Serve over ice

And if you're more of a wine drinker than cocktail sipper, consider Thorny Rose Pinot Grigio! The green bottles (to keep with the St. Patty's theme!) hold a complex wine with notes of ripe peach, lemon, and cream—we're huge fans.

CÎROC St. Patty

Basil, Jalapeño,1oz Lime Juice, .75oz Agave, 1.5oz CÎROC Vodka

Build in shaker, 3 basil leaves, 1 jalapeño, lime juice, agave, muddle add vodka and ice shake and fine strain over a couple glass garnish with basil leaf and jalapeño.
