Because this is my last blog post, I’ve decided to focus on my absolute favorite wintertime clothing accessories. That would be the faux fur vest, the faux fur coat, and quite honestly, anything with a faux fur embellishment. I love the luxurious look of fur—it's so reminiscent of a time that was glamorous, when men and women lived to dress up. I look at a fabulous fur coat and I’m instantly taken to Studio 54 in the 1970s, where glamour ruled just as much as a sparkly glass of champagne.

I’ve always been a fan of texture in my wardrobe as I feel that texture gives any outfit a sense of depth and opulence. A black faux fur gilet thrown over a t-shirt and jeans creates an insta-chic look in a boho-glam sort of way. And an oversized faux fur coat oozes sophistication and charm. So the next time you are feeling a little chilly, or just want to add a little something extra to your ensemble, try some faux fur!
