Celebs are proving that they are just like us…even when it comes to finding that special someone. Several of them are going the unconventional route and hitting the dating apps, as several of them like Demi Lovato, Drew Barrymore, Bethenny Frankel and more are swiping for love online!
Demi hit up elite dating app Raya last year, which is a favorite among the rich and famous. "I am on the dating app with both guys and girls,” she revealed. "I am open to a human connection, so whether that’s through a male or a female, it doesn’t matter to me." She’s clearly "Sorry, Not Sorry" indeed about what she wants!
Raya was also popular with Drew, where the 50 First Dates star confessed to using the app after her divorce from Will Kopelman in 2016. "Screw it! I’m going to fulfill my fantasy and go on a dating app!" she told Ellen DeGeneres. Sadly, "no one responded" and she gave up after a few days.
Other famous celebs who have used Raya include Bethenny as well as Cara Delevingne, John Mayer and Ruby Rose just to name a few. The RHONY star recently said that "she’s not ready to settle down," so perhaps she’s just looking for some fun in 2018?
Another popular app that millions of people use is Tinder, where several sexy celebrities like Zac Efron, Hilary Duff & Andy Cohen have admitted to using it at least once in the past. "I’m there, I’m swiping," admitted the Watch What Happens Live host in 2015. "I like it. It’s fun. You know, where am I going to meet an architect that lives in Brooklyn besides Tinder at this point? It’s the modern-day singles bar."
"Attention" singer Charlie Puth has been known to use the female-driven Bumble app (ladies make the first move), but he actually prefers dating the old-fashioned way. "If women are overly inviting and giving their numbers to me, dating kind of loses its classic touch a bit. I’m supposed to get the number. I like to think I’m a bit of a classic guy.” Aw!
