Dax Shepard Reveals He & Kristen Bell Don’t Have A Prenup: ‘Joke’s Now On Her!’
When Dax Shepard and Kristen Bell wed in 2013, the Parenthood actor thought he was being a nice, selfless husband-to-be when he opted not to make her sign a prenuptial agreement.
“When we first started dating, I had more money than her. And I owned the house that I lived in. And she said to me at one point, ‘Would you like a prenup before we get married?’” Dax told Conan O’Brien on Conan Monday night.
Even though Dax confessed he “really wanted” one, he told Kristen no, explaining to Conan, “Something good came over for me once.”
Five years later, however, Dax said “the joke is now on Kristen,” whose fame has skyrocketed in the years since they said “I do,” thanks to hit films like Frozen and Bad Moms.
“She’s become much more successful than me, and has much more money than me,” he told Conan, adding jokingly, “Or does she?”
