Did ‘The Real’ Just Throw Shade At Tamar Braxton?

Though they’ve said in the past that they have no problems with Tamar Braxton and that they “miss her dearly,” fans couldn’t help but wonder whether The Real hosts were throwing her some massive shade on air today, August 20.

It’s been two years since Tamar’s abrupt departure from The Real, which reportedly “shocked” her co-hosts — Adrienne Baillon, Loni Love, Jeannie Mai, and Tamera Mowry. But the quartet, who previously claimed that they “wish her well” seemed like they could have been throwing some shots her way on their latest segment of Girl Chat. After receiving a letter from a fan who was worried that someone she worked with didn’t like her, the ladies all seemed to be ready to respond with their own advice and similar experiences.

Adrienne began, “I just can’t imagine why you would want to work in that hostile environment. That’s not fun. I would try to smooth things over, at least make it a happy environment."

Tamera also couldn’t help but get real about how she felt being in the fan’s position in the past: “Sometimes, you’ve just got to stop trying and you’ve got to let go. Because sometimes you just can’t change a person’s perspective on who you are. I’ve been there. Like, ‘please, please, please like me, like me, like me.’ And they’re like, ‘No, I don’t like you.’ And it’s not a fun place to be. So, I would just say to Sara just let it go. She doesn’t like you and that’s okay too. You’ve got to move on from that.”
