Just How Expensive Is It To Be Erika Jayne? $40K A Month JUST For Beauty And Clothes!
It really is “XXPEN$IVE” to be Erika Jayne.
While appearing on The Wendy Williams Show Tuesday, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star confirmed the rumor that she drops $40K a month to afford her “expensive” lifestyle.
“That is true,” she told Wendy. “You know, it can get there for sure.”
So, how does a single person spend a year's salary in just 30 days?
“If you want to look good it’s hair, it’s makeup, it’s wardrobe, and then those people that help facilitate that,” Erika dished. “They’re not cheap.”
As RHOBH fans know, the performer turned reality star turned author, who’s currently on a book tour promoting her new memoir Pretty Mess, spares no expense when it comes to her extravagant lifestyle.
From dripping herself in all things high-fashion to traveling internationally with her entire glam squad, Miss Erika J lives the life some only dream of.
But it wasn’t always that way.
“I was just a middle-class kid from Atlanta,” she told Wendy. “But, in 89’ I moved to New York. I had just graduated high school. I wanted to be a performer. I wanted to sing and dance.”
While pursuing her dream she met her first husband, who is also the father of her only child.
“I met the hot DJ at the club and he was irresistible,” she said. “We got married – St. Patrick’s Cathedral – right here on 5th Ave.”
While the marriage didn’t work out it ultimately led her to move to Hollywood where she met her second husband -- high-power attorney, Tom Girardi -- which she confessed did not happen by accident.

“You don’t just bump into a millionaire,” Erika confessed. “You put yourself in those places. I was a cocktail waitress in a restaurant in Beverly Hills and he was my customer for a year and we developed a friendship before we ever went out on a date.”
She added, “I know it’s totally cliché but 19 years later, married 18, you know.”
