"Glee" Actor Cory Monteith Enters Rehab

Cory Monteith has checked himself into a treatment facility to battle substance addiction.
"He graciously asks for your respect and privacy as he takes the necessary steps towards recovery," the Glee star's rep told People.

Lea Michele is backing up her boyfriend and costar on his decision to get help. "I love and support Cory and will stand by him through this," the 26-year-old actress says. "I am grateful and proud he made this decision."

This isn't Cory's first stint in rehab. The 30-year-old says he was drinking and smoking pot at age 13 and he did "anything and everything, as much as possible."

"I burned a lot of bridges," he once said of his teens. "I was out of control."
Cory finally got sober shortly after his family staged an intervention when he was 19.
