There was one thing standing in the way of Joseph Duggar and Kendra Caldwell’s courtship (and ultimately their engagement) – her dad!
During the Counting On after show special, Kendra confessed that she thought her dad could possibly say no when Joe asked him if he and Kendra could enter into a courtship.
As Duggar fans know, Kendra’s father is also Joe’s pastor, which could have made for quite the awkward Sunday had he actually said, “no.”
