Kameron Westcott Reveals Her Family Doesn't Watch 'Real Housewives of Dallas'
Kameron Westcott revealed to OKMagazine.com that her well-known family chooses not to watch her on The Real Housewives of Dallas. The hit Bravo show, which premiered its newest season on September 4, has no shortage of drama and her loved ones simply don't want to see her get hurt.
"You know it's so funny, they don't watch the show. My mother-in-law loves reality TV, but it gives her anxiety to see me on television because she wants to fight my battles for me. She is very protective so it's best for her to not watch the show," Kameron, 36, explained.
Although her mother-in-law finds it difficult to tune-in, she still agreed to film a couple scenes this season.
"She actually shows up a couple times this season so you'll get to see more of her. It's a big step — a big step — because they did not want me doing the show at first. They're just protective of me and they didn't want me to get hurt and they didn't want people to be mean to me. It was more out of love and protection," Kameron added.

Not all of her relatives look away though. "My husband watches it but he has to do it on his own terms. My sister of course watches the show and my brother watches the show," she said.
Kameron stars on RHOD with castmates Brandi Redmond, D'Andra Simmons, LeeAnne Locken, and Stephanie Hollman, as well as "friend of the cast" Cary Deuber.
