Miranda Lambert & Boyfriend Evan Felker Get Handsy In First Sighting As A Couple

Miranda Lambert and Evan Felker have finally taken their relationship public.

The couple was spotted holding hands while in New York City on Wednesday, July 18.

“They looked very happy together. They looked closer as the night went on,” a source told Us Weekly of their night out. “At one point, Evan leaned in for a kiss. When the two let themselves be open, they appeared very comfortable together.”

Miranda and the still-married Evan’s date night came nearly three months after it was revealed they were dating. According to reports, the country singers began seeing each other shortly after Miranda split from her boyfriend of two-years, Anderson East.

While Anderson didn’t confirm their break up until April, Miranda and Evan reportedly started dating months before while Evan’s band, Turnpike Troubadours, opened for Miranda on her "Livin’ Like Hippies" tour.

A source previously told People, Evan fell for the "Vice" singer after just two days of touring — and spent the following months leaving his now estranged wife, Staci Nelson, in the dark about his relationship with Miranda.

“People are making it seem like, ‘Oh, they got close while they were on tour together,’ as if the tour was six months long, but it was three days, and the first two of those he was still acting like he was in love with his wife,” the insider claimed, adding that Evan “didn’t even call home the third night.”

Even after the tour, the source claimed Evan continued to travel with Miranda, only emailing his wife, “I’m not coming home this week.”

Evan filed for divorce on Feb.16. Three months later, he filed a motion to speed up the divorce proceedings.
