Rapper Nipsey Hussle Shot Dead Outside His Los Angeles Store

Rapper Nipsey Hussle was reportedly shot dead outside his Los Angeles store on Sunday, March 31. He was 33 years old.

NBC News said that two other men were in serious condition and a suspect remains at large. The alleged incident took place at Nipsey's store called Marathon Clothing on Slauson Avenue in Los Angeles.

Nipsey was a critically acclaimed rapper who dropped his first studio album, Victory Lap, in 2018. It earned him a Grammy nomination for Best Rap Album the following year.

He and actress Lauren London welcomed a son on August 31, 2016. Both of them have children from previous relationships.

Rihanna, Drake, Snoop Dogg and other celebrities have already shared emotional responses to his passing.

"This doesn’t make any sense!" Rihanna, 31, wrote on her Instagram. "My spirit is shaken by this! Dear God may his spirit Rest in Peace and may you grant divine comfort to all his loved ones!"
