‘RHONY’ Recap: The Ladies Discuss Luann's Alleged ‘Blackface’
Episode two of The Real Housewives Of New York City’s tenth season, appropriately titled “Running Your Mouth,” aired last night, and the ladies from the Big Apple definitely got to talking about more than just one topic.
One of the biggest conversations that got the girls' mouths moving is whether or not Luann de Lesseps actually wore blackface when she arrived at Dorinda Medley’s Halloween party dressed as legendary singer Diana Ross (something that she categorically denied on Watch What Happens Live last week).
“What was going on with Luann… she came in blackface. Is that OK… like when did that become OK?” alleged Carole Radziwill while lunching with Ramona Singer and Tinsley Mortimer. Ramona didn’t think it was a “blackface” situation, but more so that Luann looked tan. But Carole wasn’t buying it. “I think you’re taking it too far,” Ramona said.
Later on in the episode, Sonja Morgan walked around NYC with Dorinda, and said she was surprised that the Halloween party hostess actually remembered their conversation about doing some early morning walks with one another. “Due to the state of mind that Dorinda was in, I’m amazed she even remembers we talked about having a walk," Sonja said. They also made a mutual decision to stay out of Tinsley’s relationship drama with her on again, off again boyfriend, “Coupon King” Scott Kluth (Dorinda told Sonja they broke up).
Speaking of Tinsley, she and Luann went out to dinner with one another, and she talked with the Countess about an issue that arose with her and Scott prior to them sitting down. “On the way here, there was like a texting war with Scott," Tinsley said. She went on to talk about the state of their relationship in her confessional, saying “I know we’re great together, nothing specifically happened, I’m just trying to be the girl that I know he fell in love with and hope that he just misses me enough to want me back.”

Business-minded Bethenny Frankel walked into her new Soho office for the first time, where she spotted issues with it immediately. “My first inclination is that it’s a little ‘cluttery,'" she told her staff. She then pointed to two red chairs and said “These are horrible.” Yikes!
The episode ends on an inspirational note, as an ambitious Carole ran the New York City Marathon (26.2 miles). “This is it, this is the moment I’ve spent the last four months thinking about,” she exclaimed.
It wasn’t easy, as Carole had some major physical problems towards the end of the marathon. “It’s all a bit of a blur, my legs were paralyzed," she said. "I just kept going, I can’t tell you how or why… I just kept going.” The pain was worth the reward however, as she crossed the finish line with a ton of her family there to support her, even though she was in a state of delirium. "When I saw the finish line, I just thought it was a mirage in a desert," she joked.
