While the former Bachelorette contestant hasn’t officially agreed to join the upcoming season’s cast – we all know he will -- he did admit that he’s already gone through a lot of the motions to appear on the dating show.

“I have filled out paperwork,” the reality star told Entertainment Tonight. “I’m going to do some of the testings that we have to go through before we do it, but in the end, it will be a decision that I’ll have to sit down with my family and make.”

The former swimmer also dished on what he really thinks about Luke Pell’s recent Bachelor scandal.

As OK! reader’s know, Luke tried to cast multiple women on The Bachelor that he was already dating before producers ultimately chose Nick Viall as the show’s lead.

“It’s a tough situation Luke’s in because he wasn’t picked and now he has to deal with all the backlash from it,” he explained. “Luke’s a great guy, I like him a lot and I hope for him that he’s dealing with this appropriately."
