Watch: Sara Haines Bawls Her Eyes Out On Last Day Of 'The View'
Sara Haines had a bittersweet goodbye as she said "adieu" to The View where she has been a co-host for two seasons. She had her last show on August 2nd where she was surrounded by her loving castmates Sunny Hostin, Joy Behar, Whoopi Goldberg and Meghan McCain.
The View started their show with a highlight reel of clips of Sara's best moments and that's when the tears came rushing out like Niagara Falls. “It has been an honor, a privilege and an absolute dream to work here at this show. From the many people that you guys will never see behind the cameras who have become lifelong friends — they’re not going anywhere — to dear friends I have made at this table who are absolutely TV gold,” Sara exclaimed through her waterworks.
She continued, “You guys are strong, empowered, opinionated women and for anyone who’s ever been in a sport, you know the best team members are the ones who lift you up and make you better and you guys did that for me,” she continued. “I love this view and I love all of you.”
Joy and Meghan hilariously said as they held back tears, "The two wicked witches, we don't cry."
The 40-year-old will be graduating to a new position at Good Morning America where she will host the third hour with Michael Strahan starting September 10th.

Her announcement to depart the talk show comes days after co-host Paula Faris also decided to give the show the ole heave-ho and leave to focus on her family and new faith-based podcast.
