Watch Billy Crystal Give a Loving Tribute to Robin Williams at the Emmys

Hollywood is still reeling from the death of Robin Williams from his suicide two weeks ago. The Emmys were to be the first big moment for the industry to honor him, and the comedy legend got his due after the in memoriam segment, when friend Billy Crystal spoke about him.

Billy shared favorite anecdotes about his friendship with Robin, making the audience chuckle. But of course he grew serious as well. "It's very hard to talk about him in the past, because he was so present in all of our lives, for almost forty years," Billy said. "He was the brightest star in the comedy galaxy." He then led into a montage of funny clips of Robin. It was a beautiful memorial.
