Watch! Brie Larson Soars Into The MCU In First Teaser Trailer For 'Captain Marvel'
POW, POW, POW! The time has finally come for the trailer for the highly anticipated MCU film, Captain Marvel to be released. The teaser was launched today and already has fans buzzing. Brie Larson stars as the title character of Captain Marvel/ Carol Danvers and is making comic book movie history.
The film is the first of the Marvel Cinematic Universe to have a solo female movie and is breaking barriers. The new action flick is also reuniting some old Marvel Universe stars like Samuel L. Jackson and Clark Gregg.
Brie premiered the trailer on Good Morning America Tuesday (September 18) morning at the Smithsonian’s National Air and Space Museum in Washington, D.C.
The film's setting brings the audience to the 1990s where Carol is an Air Force officer-turned-superhero. The story follows her journey as she rises to become a hero after Earth becomes intertwined in a galactic war between alien species.
The star-studded cast also includes Jude Law, Lee Pace, Annette Bening and Djimon Hounsou. Captain Marvel is slated to fly into theaters on March 8, 2019 and it will be the 21st film in the MCU.

Brie also recently graced the colorful cover of Entertainment Weekly as Captain Marvel (in her full bodysuit) and opened up about playing the iconic role. "She can’t help but be herself,” the 28-year-old told EW. “She can be aggressive, and she can have a temper, and she can be a little invasive and in your face. She’s also quick to jump to things, which makes her amazing in battle because she’s the first one out there and doesn’t always wait for orders. But the not waiting for orders is, to some, a character flaw.”
