So what caused the rift and such a fierce punishment?

Joan received the opportunity to host her own nightly show on FOX and allegedly Johnny was insulted that his friend didn't share the news with him before the announcement went public.

While the two never made up, Joan delivered some incredible comedy moments on The Tonight Show, even filling in for Johnny as host on occasion. Check out some of her best moments followed by her triumphant return to the show when Jimmy Fallon took over in 2014.
