Whoever said that a birthday only lasts for one day was wrong. For Mariah Carey, who rang in her 41st last weekend, the festivities have kept on going with a lavish retreat to the Waldorf Astoria El Conquistador Resort in true ‘diva’ form.
Heading to the Caribbean on Tuesday, Mariah and her 29-year-old hubby Nick Cannon have been soaking up the ocean side sights and sounds in the lap of luxury.
“They have a 24 hour butler and she has her own staff with her too, so they have constant service…They have a private pool and the most amazing ocean view,” a source revealed to Radar Online of the actress and singer’s birthday vacation.
And, when everything imaginable is right at her fingertips, why would Mariah want to venture outside of her deluxe villa?

"They aren't really leaving their private casita because they don't need to,” the source continued of the Long Island native, accompanied by a few friends and her three dogs at the resort.
Regardless, the pop star and her partner did make it out to a catamaran ride along the Caribbean where Mariah continued to get whatever it was that she wanted for her birthday.
"She had her ship's waiters go and get her Krispy Kreme doughnuts.”
Mariah most recently starred in the award-winning flick Precious, alongside Gabourey Sidibe.
