FASHION: Couture detailing meets street edge. Pale color palette of slate gray, ivory and soft pastels infused with flashes of neon brights. The iconic bandage dress has been updated with cross-laced panels, textured prints and enameled surfaces — creating looks with a powerful, futuristic armor-like feel. Interesting weaving techniques and origami-like folds add a fresh update to these second-skin looks.

BEAUTY: Natural fresh faces with minimal eye makeup and bright-colored, coral lips. The models wore their hair slicked back with parts down the middle, which caused the intricate details of the dresses to pop even more.

COLOR/OVERHEAD: HBO's In Treatment star Melissa George and Gossip Girl goddess Jessica Szohr were very chatty in the front row. The pair giggled as they snacked on the Godiva chocolate which was on their seats. Sophia Bush, who sat next to Jessica, was accompanied by her boyfriend Austin Nichols. The couple held hands and were affectionate as they watched the fashions hit the catwalk.

Melissa wore a sexy but classy Hervé dress.

"I just wanted to go very New York dark," Melissa told OK! of her navy bandage, plunging-neck dress from the fall collection. "I'm wearing people who I love. "

Melissa, who is friendly with the designers Hervé L. Leroux and Max Azria, gave OK! some inside scoop on the fall collection.

"Each gown is like $40,000," Melissa dished. "They are major. They are major pieces. Their shows are the best ever."
