Chris Tucker is reportedly facing foreclosure of his Florida mansion, but the comedian is still able to laugh about his financial situation.
According to The Associated Press, court records show SunTrust bank filed papers against Chris earlier this week.
The actor reportedly bought the home in 2007 for $6 million and the bank claims he owes more than $4.4 million. However, the home is currently assessed at $1.6 million.
And Chris’ troubles don’t stop there. He also reportedly owes the IRS more than $11 million!
But according to the Miami New Times, Chris was able to joke about his financial problems during his comedy show on Saturday night at the Fillmore Miami Beach.
“That’s the last time I let Wesley Snipes help me out with my taxes,” he said.
He later joked about bill collectors, saying, “They calling you acting like you owe them the money personally! ‘We need the money.’ I don’t owe you s***! This is between me and the company!”
