When The View was looking for new cohosts this summer, model (and Twitter champ) Chrissy Teigen was the name on everyone’s lips. But sorry, Whoopi and Rosie—Chrissy is getting together with pals Nicole Richie and Tyra Banks for a hipper new daytime talk show called... The Fab.

The show, which shot its pilot last week, will closely follow the formula of The View and The Talk, but it’s targeting younger women. Chrissy and Tyra have been hinting about their collaboration for weeks on Twitter, and the ladies hope to announce a premiere date for The Fab soon. “Chrissy, Tyra and Nicole are all very witty and have no trouble expressing themselves,” says a show insider.

“Plus, they’re honest and willing to talk about their own real-life problems—and fans can relate to that.”

The Fab-sters will cover whatever topics interest them, including celebrity gossip, current events, politics and cooking. And with two supermodels and a designer hosting, the show will be full of fashion. Tyra, 40, hosted her own daytime show for five seasons, while 32-year-old Nicole has been a reality TV staple for a decade. Chrissy, 28, who turned down a chance on The View for the new spot, has guest- hosted Live! With Kelly & Michael and The Chew.

The source says the pilot features lots of audience interaction, with Chrissy tossing bagels back and forth with the crowd. “She doesn’t have a shy bone in her body,” says the insider. “The audience will love her on live TV.”
