Although Carrie Ann Inaba may be single now after breaking things off with her fiancé accountant Jesse Sloan, the 44-year-old Dancing with the Stars judge says she's ready for a baby.
"I really do want to have a child," she tells People. "So I'm putting my energies toward that."
Carrie visits a fertility doctor every month and is "good shape," but she's hoping things will progress naturally.
"I'm hoping that it happens the old-fashioned way," she says, "but I'm not opposed to trying new things."
The reality star says she knows time isn't on her side, but that means she doesn't need to give up her dream of having a family either.
"My body is my timeline," she says. "That doesn't mean that there can't be hope and there can't be a miracle. A lot of miracles have happened in my life so I continue to believe in them. It only takes one egg!"
And while she's hoping for a baby soon, she's also hoping to fall in love again.
"I feel like I'm ready for a lot of wonderful things in my life to happen," she adds. "I have enough love to give and I feel confident enough in who I am that I can give that love."
