Elisabeth Hasselbeck is couch surfing from The View over to Fox & Friends.

“I have been a longtime fan of Fox & Friends and am excited to be joining their team in September as it is an honor to call the Fox News Channel my new television home,” said Elisabeth, whose last day on The View is Wednesday, July 10.

“We will miss her and wish her everything good,” the show’s executive producer, Barbara Walters, said of her conservative co-host’s departure.

Elisabeth’s new network is thrilled to welcome her as Gretchen Carlson‘s replacement on Fox & Friends. “Elisabeth’s warm and engaging personality made her a star on The View,” said Fox News chairman and CEO Roger Ailes. “She has proven to be an excellent conversationalist and I am certain she will make a great addition to our already successful morning franchise.”

Watch: Barbara Walters Announces She Will Retire From The View

It looks like Elisabeth will soon face some stiff competition in the fight for viewers since another former The View co-host, Meredith Vieira, has just announced she too will be doing a talk show. The former Today co-anchor will host The Meredith Vieira Show on NBC starting in September 2014!

“As a journalist on Today and 60 Minutes, I learned how to really listen to people and help give them a voice,” Meredith said in a statement. “On The View, I unleashed my own opinionated self and discovered the empowerment that comes with sometimes heated, but always respectful, discussion. And on Millionaire, I relished the joy of changing people’s lives while having pure fun. All of these experiences, along with being a wife and mom, have led me here because they all share one common denominator … this fundamental need we have to connect with and find inspiration in each other.”

Could there be more big announcements in the near future? Elisabeth has spent just short of a decade on The View, and she isn’t the only co-host leaving. Joy Behar decided to call it quits after this season and Barbara announced in May that she will retire next year. That leaves Whoopi Goldberg and Sherri Shepherd as the last women standing.
