The wife of United States Vice President Joe Biden, Dr. Jill Biden, will be guest appearing as herself on Lifetime’s original series Army Wives in an effort to raise awareness of the service and sacrifices of our men and women in uniform.
Jill will appear in the episode “Mud, Sweat, and Tears” on Sunday, Aug. 15. She visits Fort Marshall to kick off “Fun Run,” which supports a summer camp for children of military families. Real Army wives will also be featured in this special episode.
“We are honored to have Dr. Biden make a special appearance on Army Wives,” President and General Manager of Lifetime Networks, Nancy Dubuc, said. “Dr. Biden’s inspiring commitment to military families should be commended, and, as longtime supporters of this cause, Lifetime Networks is proud to be her partner in relaying this message across America.”
A public service announcement encouraging Americans to take part in supporting military families made by Jill will also be shown during her episode of Army Wives.
To see Jill’s Army Wives debut, tune in to Lifetime Sunday, Aug. 15 at 10 p.m. ET!
