Leona Lewis was more affected by her surprise attack at a London book signing than we thought. The "Bleeding Love" singer has revealed her career Plan B: She wants to open an animal sanctuary.
Leona, 24, who is campaigning for the UK-based World Society for the Protection of Animals charity admitted, ''I would love to open up my own sanctuary, which would be amazing.''
The animal-lover (who has a Stafford Bull Terrier cross called Misty), says, "One reason animals are so vulnerable to cruelty is because there is no universal agreement between nations that animals can suffer and feel pain.
''The campaign for a universal declaration on animal welfare could be the beginning of the end for animal cruelty across the world."
Peter Kowalczyk, 29, who is charged with striking Leona earlier this month was judged unfit to attend court over the attack. He is currently under examination by psychiatrists.
Leona's debut album Spirit has sold more than 6.5 million copies worldwide.
