Melissa Gilbert Prepped With Plastic Surgeon Before 'DWTS' Premiere

Sure, some stars end up lifting weights or getting into better shape when they do their thing on the dance floor, but for Melissa Gilbert it appears she visited a plastic surgeon's office before joining the cast of Dancing With the Stars.

According to RadarOnline, celebrity plastic surgeon Dr. Anthony Youn says the 47-year-old looks fresh-faced and youthful, likely the result of a visit to her plastic surgeon.

"Her face is surprisingly wrinkle-free for a woman her age. I suspect that she's had some Botox to her forehead and crows feet, effectively smoothing them out."

He added, "She may also have had some filler injections like Restylane to the deep creases of her lower face as well. Overall, her face looks longer than before, a likely combination of aging and some plastic surgery."

Considering she got a divorce last August from Bruce Boxleitner after 16 years of marriage and now she's under the ballroom spotlight, it makes sense why celebs like Melissa would get a needle prick or two.

Buyer beware, however, as Dr. Youn warns the changes are only temporary. "Unless her face gets a Botox recharge, I bet we will see more wrinkles return over the next several months as it wears off."
