The Canadian prime minister’s office confirms via The Associated Press that the first official trip the married couple will make is to Canada over the summer.
David Johnston, the Governor General of Canada, said on Wednesday that Prince William and Kate will arrive on June 30 and tour the country until July 8.
On the agenda includes visits to Alberta, Prince Edward Island, Quebec, Ottawa and the Northwest Territories with a trip to the Arctic included!
Also planned is to have the newlyweds take part in Canada Day celebrations on July 1 in Ottawa.
Prince William announced his engagement to Kate last November and shortly after Prime Minister Stephen Harper invited them to Canada.
Queen Elizabeth II is the head of state of Canada and in honor of the newlyweds, Canada is issuing special stamps.
Prince William is set to marry Kate on April 29!
