Off duty Coast Guard Jonathan Rivera came to Sean Kingston‘s rescue over the weekend after the singer crashed his jet ski into a bridge. According to Sean’s rescuer, the singer was “puking up blood” but “responsive” after the accident.
Sean remains in critical but stable condition at Miami hospital, and his rescuer Rivera is now speaking out on how he found the singer after the crash.
According to TMZ, Rivera said he was driving his boat when a man and woman on a jet ski called him over to the accident scene. He saw an empty jet ski and Sean and a woman floating in the water. He jumped in the water and noticed Sean was “puking up blood out of his mouth.”
Rivera helped keep Sean’s head above water by wrapping his arms around him and said Sean was “convulsing and throwing up blood all over me.”
After about 15 minutes, a police boat finally arrived to the scene. Rivera said he told Sean he was going to be okay and the singer repeated back, “I’m going to be okay.”
