The X Factor crowned a winner last night over in the U.K. and it was Matt Cardle who claimed the victory!

Matt beat out Rebecca Ferguson, One Direction and Cher Lloyd for the win, Entertainment Weekly reports.
The show reached it's highest-rated finale ever by pulling in 17.2 million viewers!

Dannii Minogue was Matt's mentor throughout his performance and one of the highlights came during Guilty Pleasures week when Matt sang his cover of “Baby One More Time."
