We draw inspiration from their clothes, makeup, and attitudes (i.e. Megan’s lashes, Joan’s jewel-tones, Don’s snarky wit), so we’d by lying to ourselves if we said our Mad Men episode binges didn’t result in a bit of home décor inspiration.
Since Season 7 presented us with plenty of intense storylines, including the fact that Don’s wifey has an extraordinary talent for decorating small spaces (and let’s be real, curling her hair!), we decided to catch up with Jennifer Delonge, an interior and furniture designer and a vintage décor expert that could clue us in on the 70s trends we might see in the season ahead and those that we could realistically incorporate into our homes today. Because while we love a wooden paneling reference, chances are we wouldn’t be too pleased if the wall treatment covered our powder rooms.
