Jennifer Aniston "Cried" When Justin Theroux Asked Her To Marry Him

When Justin Theroux asked girlfriend Jennifer Aniston to marry him at Blue Hill in NYC's trendy Greenwich Village neighborhood, "Jen cried," a close friend told Us Weekly.

The couple jetted off to the city in a private plane to celebrate Justin's 41st birthday, and he had quite the surprise weekend planned. According to People, the actor and screenwriter has been wanting to propose for awhile and couldn't wait.

"He's been dying to do it. "His friends knew it was coming."

The couple who have been together since last year met on the set of Wanderlust and friends say the two got serious about the relationship sooner rather than later.

"They have the same low-key attitude about life," says a member of their inner circle. "They just click and complement each other."

This will be the first marriage for Justin and the second for Jennifer. She was previously married to Brad Pitt from 2000 to 2005.

"Everyone is really excited for them," adds a source. "It's amazing to see how happy Justin makes Jen, and everyone was always hoping that he would propose."
