Scott Disick has been facing backlash for months over his nasty split with his ex Kourtney Kardashian. It appeared that the couple’s breakup was largely caused by Scott’s troubling behavior and reported substance abuse over the past year. However, Scott’s friends are now pointing the finger at his ex’s mother, Kris Jenner, for causing Scott’s downward spiral!
Speaking to RadarOnline.com, a source said that Jenner played a huge role in Scott’s breakdown. “Kris is the main person who put Scott in the situation he is in today,” the friend said.
The source added that the issues first began when Scott’s parents, Bonnie Disick and Jeffrey Disick, died just a few months apart from each other a couple of years ago.
Bonnie passed in October of 2013 and Jeffrey died in January 2014, leaving Scott heartbroken. However, his friend said Jenner failed to encourage or comfort Disick during his low period after his parents' death.
“When his parents died, Kris offered no support for him as a family,” the source said. “It was business as usual, so he didn’t get to grieve at all.”

The source added that Scott was also kept from hanging out with and communicating with his close friends while with Kardashian. “Kris and the family also kept him away from his friends, so they weren’t ever able to be there for him like they wanted,” the source said.
