Amy Poehler and Will Arnett take a break from their sons Archie, 3, and Abel, 15 months, Monday to host the Worldwide Orphans Foundation Gala at NYC’s Cipriani Wall Street.

“You looked so pretty on Saturday,” Amy tells Emma Stone, who attends the benefit with her Amazing Spider-Man co-star Andrew Garfield.

Since Amy is working on Parks and Recreation while Will puts time in on Up All Night the couple who wed in 2003 toil on the same NBC set.

“I love seeing Maya [Rudolph],” Amy says. “Will’s friends with everyone at Parks, so it’s a fun time.”

Even though Amy and Will star on two successful sitcoms, they still grapple with the same limited amount of time for family and work.

“We’re just like everyone else,” Amy says. “Everyone’s working parents, and they all figure out ways to manage their time. Everybody’s busy. We do it just like anybody else.”

Will adds, “It’s so boring. I got up earlier today. It was your turn to pick up the kids at a prospective time – just like everybody else.”

They change the subject when asked if they would consider adoption.

“Tonight is about WWO and raising awareness for helping children in their own communities,” Amy says. “What we’re doing tonight is hosting this benefit so we can raise money and awareness for programs, summer camps and all that kind of stuff.”

Will adds, “In the communities themselves. It’s not about adoption.”

Time to strike a pose: Amy, Will and Emma mug with Worldwide Orphans Foundation creator Dr. Jane Aronson, all wearing her signature blue glasses.
