Toni Braxton has been admitted to a Las Vegas hospital for an undisclosed ailment.
The Grammy-winning singer entered St. Rose Dominican Hospital Monday night after curtains closed on her show at the Flamingo. The reason for the hospitalization has yet to be released, but hospital officials state Toni is in good condition.
Though it’s not clear why she was admitted, the 40-year-old does suffer from pericarditis, an inflammation of the sac surrounding the heart, which she learned of after the birth of her second son Diezel in 2003.
Since then, Toni has been named spokeswoman for the American Heart Association.
The R&B star had been headlining Toni Braxton: Revealed five nights a week at the Flamingo since 2006. Revealed is dark on Tuesdays, and while Wednesday’s show has yet to be cancelled, ticket holders have been advised to contact the hotel regarding the show’s status.
