Wendy Williams was the second contestant to say goodbye last night on Season 12 of Dancing With the Stars. The outspoken talk show host did not deliver with her foxtrot this week, landing her with the lowest score and ultimately sending her home. But Wendy held her head high as she said her final goodbyes, and is proud of what she learned during her short time on the dance floor.

“I’m going back to everything that is near and dear to me that I have neglected personally for this six week journey,” Wendy told reporters backstage. “We’ve been on TV for three [weeks] and then there were three [weeks] before when we rehearsed and I have a 10-year-old son, and a talk show that demands my attention.”

Wendy may be ready to get back to her normal routine, but she will miss her partner/pal Tony Dovolani.

“There are a number of things that I will miss about Tony including him asking me to please stand straight,” Wendy mused. “As a woman of a particular age it’s going to help me as I approach osteoporosis and this was a fun experience. I think it’s time for me to go home.”

Besides Tony, Wendy also plans to stay in touch with fellow contestant Kirstie Alley and Kendra Wilkinson .

“I told them both, ‘I can’t wait to see you when you come to New York!’ ” she said. “I’ve met some really good people since I’ve been here. I can’t say anything bad about the experience.”

Wendy also shared that she is thankful for her DWTS experience, which showed her, “That I’ve still got it.”

“These are the very same things that propelled my career and made me push ahead. I had several miscarriages,” she shared. “To have my son after a bad marriage, to re-marry and trust again. The very same things that I have been fearless about in the past. I still got it.”

Kendra told reporters backstage that she will really miss Wendy and her big sense of humor.

“Wendy, c’mon, she just makes me laugh,” the reality star shared. “We clicked. I’ve been on her show a couple of times. We get along. We became friends. She has a really good personality and we’re definitely going to miss that personality around.”

And while Kendra and Wendy may be close, her hubby Hank Baskett and Tony are even closer!

“Hank and Tony are like this now,” Kendra said, gesturing with clinched fingers to express Hank’s tight bond with Tony. “They’re going out on Tuesday to go golf. I’m like, ‘Man I wanna go!’ “

OK! EXCLUSIVE PHOTOS: BEHIND THE SCENES AT DANCING WITH THE STARS

Wendy and Tony made an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live last night after the results show to talk about their time on the dance floor.

And of course host Jimmy Kimmel started his interview with a picture of Wendy’s bruised up feet, that she posted on Twitter.

“My feet are legendary,” Wendy explained. “They are a size 11, sometimes a size 12. They are very very wide, but they get me around, I’m a tall girl. They don’t get me across the dance floor very well though.”

Jimmy then asked since Wendy didn’t fall (making a jab at Kirstie and Maksim Chmerkovskiy’s performance) did she feel there was son “double-dealing going on” when it came to the results.

“I don’t know Jimmy, what do you think?” Wendy fired back.

Tony brought it back to the importance of the hit ABC competition.

Dancing With the Stars is about putting smile on people’s faces,” he said. “Yes there is a casualty ever Tuesday but I love the fact all kids can watch it without [parents] worrying about it.”

OK! VIDEO: WATCH WENDY WILLIAMS CRY ON HER SHOW AFTER LOW SCORING FOXTROT ON DANCING WITH THE STARS

“It is what it is,” Wendy said of her elimination, as she also defended her casting on the show. “I don’t know about the other stars past present or in the future, but I know for me I truly am what they are looking for when you think of watching Dancing With the Stars. You want to watch a celebrity who has never danced. I don’t do the running man, I don’t know how to do any of that.

“Tony laughed and confirmed Wendy’s claim that she did not know anything about dance.

Jimmy’s next question — “Who cried more Tony? Wendy or Kate Gosselin your old partner.”

“Thats a tough question…” Tony mused.

Wendy went on to say that while she did cry a lot, her tears were “tears of happiness.”
