The Boston Marathon bombing last year was a horrific event that took three lives and injured two hundred others. Out of that terror came plenty of heartache, but it also brought stories of determination, loyalty, and love. Roseann Sdoia has one of those stories.
In this video by Shape magazine, Roseann explains her process of rehabilitation after she lost part of her right leg in the bombing. She had to learn how to function with a 10 lb prosthetic leg, and eventually discover how to run again. See the surprising moments that are the hardest for her physically, and how she finds the strength to keep going.
